We have recently purchased an Orion Home in Wakefield and have moved into our forever home and we love it.

The sales team at Orion have been a great source of support and have guided us through the whole process, from signing for the house and putting our deposit down right through to receiving the keys to our house.

We love everything about the site at Wrenthorpe, the estate has plenty of room and space for cars to park and not to mention the garden sizes, which is not something that is common with new build sites. Orion have been fantastic and made the process of moving so much more smoother for our family. Thank you.

Enormous care has been given to the construction of our new house, built by Orion Homes at the Poplars in Brayton, from design to completion. This, combined with the sustained and friendly personal support provided by the customer care team, has filled us with a great deal of satisfaction and pleasure.

It’s the personal touch that allowed us to choose from one of four differing designs of four bedroomed detached houses on this small development, that’s reflected in the special features in the brickwork of the exterior and in the choice made of internal fittings. All display a high quality of selection and professional finish by the architects and construction team.

Right from our first site visit to moving, Judith Mark & Imelda demonstrated what an amazing ethos this company has. From our first meeting with Judith, Mark and telephone calls with Imelda, we knew we had struck gold. Once we had decided to buy the plot, Judith could not do enough to support and guide us with making all the interior choices needed before we drove back to Devon.

The regular contact and updates with Judith and Imelda were supportive and reassuring.

We couldn’t be happier with our new home now that we have lived here for almost 4 months, the quality of the build, the quality of the fixtures and fittings and the continued support from Orion staff are all of the highest quality. Our home is well designed and comfortable with some lovely features. The kitchen is lovely (I’m a big cooking fan) lots of work space and all the built in appliances needed. The French doors looking o we our rear garden allow lots of natural light and are a joy when open letting in the fresh air and bringing the garden into the house.

We have 3 good sized bedrooms with ample power points, some with usb points!! The en-suite is well appointed and fitted as is the main bathroom.

The support from the customer service team has been excellent and our initial snagging list was dealt with quickly and efficiently – even taking onboard slight design niggles for future reference! It’s good to know a company can take constructive criticism…

We have no regrets in buying an Orion home and would happily recommend them to family friends and beyond.

Buying our Orion home is the happiest decision we ever made. Ben and I used to walk past our house being built, wishing that one day we would be able to live in a home like that… within less than a year, Orion made that possible.

Throughout the potentially stressful process, the team at Orion made us feel at ease, from picking our choices to managing solicitors and mortgage processes. I recently bought a home with Orion, I felt 110% confident with the sales lady Judith who helped explain and manage my sale brilliantly, extremely responsive with every question I presented no matter how small.

I experienced a few issues with the sale of my home but Imelda and her colleagues successfully navigated these issues and resolved them. I had downsized but feel value for money of the 3 storey build didn’t compromise my life style.

Mark and the on-site gang have dealt with aftercare prompt and friendly, it feels like dealing with family not a company.

The experience was second to none.

Jill was very helpful and empathetic with our situation at the time of when we first came to view the property we ended up purchasing, the property itself didn’t need selling to us as soon as we had seen it we knew that it was our house so within an hour of the viewing we placed our deposit, from that point on we made regular visits to the development with us only living local anyway any questions we had regarding the purchase or time-frames etc… Jill was always on hand to answer those.

When it came to the crunch we was pushing to complete for March 31st or before due to the massive increase in stamp duty (who wouldn’t) Jill, Simon and the rest of the site team pulled out all the stops and we managed to complete on the 31st. The only downside to this was that we stopped dealing with Jill. Jill even though she didn’t have to as we were in the house and no need for her to even have anything to do with us came up on a few occasions, her door was always open for a catch up and on the Easter weekend even came up to give our 4 year old daughter an Easter egg which was a really nice touch and shows how caring she is to customers.

Overall our buying experience was a 10/10 couldn’t ask for any more than what we got.

We moved into our Orion home, at Purston Grange in June 2024. We were one of the first to move onto the estate – we had put a deposit down from just seeing the plans, as there wasn’t a show home to look around of the same design on any of Orion’s developments.

We took a leap of faith, hoping it would be as we imagined, and we couldn’t be happier with the size, layout and finishes of our new home. Jill, in the sales office,has been incredible, going the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect for us.

Any snags were dealt with quickly and efficiently and Simon, the site manager, was fantastic throughout.
